Captioned theatre in Adelaide, 15 October

The award-winning production of When the Rain Stops Falling returns to Adelaide for a short season this month.  Included in the season is a captioned performance at 8pm on 15 October.

Set in Alice Springs in the year 2039, When the Rain Stops Falling tells a spellbinding tale spanning two continents, 80 years and four generations. Seen and loved by 56,000 people throughout the nation, this epic piece of theatrical storytelling is bold, brilliant and breathtaking.

When the Rain Stops Falling is playing at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Adelaide.  Tickets are available from BASS on phone 131 246 or on the BASS website.

Sculpture by the Sea expands its access program

Accessible Arts, the peak arts and disability organisation in NSW, has once again partnered with Sculpture by the Sea to provide a series of accessible tours for people with vision impairment and people with intellectual disability.

A successful pilot program last year increased accessibility to this fantastically popular event.  Accessible Arts and Sculpture by the Sea are both committed to building on that experience and expanding the reach of the program to people with disabilities. This year, as well as audio described tours for people with vision impairment, Sculpture by the Sea will run tactile tours in easy English for people with intellectual disability.
