The conference, which has the theme ‘Think Globally, Act Locally’, will open with a presentation by Robyn Hunt from AccEase addressing the implications and implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The event will showcase examples of best practice for providing information to people with print disabilities, and will include key speakers from the disabilities sector. MAA CEO Alex Varley will take part in the conference, speaking on the topic ‘Say goodbye to Hollywood – separating local from global issues in cinema access’ on Sunday.
