Our new gaming content focuses on providing information for people who are Deaf or hearing impaired, people who are blind or vision impaired and people with cognitive and mobility-related disabilities to easily find accessible games on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Wii U, iOS and Android platforms.
We also have an updated list of resources and online communities which provide news, reviews and discussion around accessible gaming for people with disabilities, as well as new inclusive resources for game developers.
Gaming provides completely unique recreational, cultural, emotional and social benefits that aren’t often found in other forms of media. For the estimated 20% of gamers with a disability, inclusion is a key part of the experience.
Check out Media Access Australia's gaming page to read all the new updates. If you have any suggestions to expand our list of accessible gaming resources, please let us know via our contact form.
