The International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is being held on 3 December, to help break down disability barriers and celebrate ability. The awards are backed by the Australian Federal Government and winners will be announced on the day.

The independent judging panel that has been assembled this year will be selecting the best of the best across five categories. The aim of the awards is to recognise outstanding achievements that have improved the lives of Australians with disability and contributed to an increased recognition of equality and human rights for all Australians.

You can nominate now online at the IDPwD website. There is also a hard-copy version of the nomination form available. Before entering the awards, those who are seeking to nominate are encouraged to read the Awards Guidelines and the Conditions of Entry.
