The Annual International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference, commonly known as CSUN, showcases emerging technologies set to make an impact over the coming years. The open web: where consumer products meet web standards

Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines

The Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG) 2.0 is a technical standard designed by the W3C to support developers in the creation of authoring tools. The current ATAG 2.0 release is in its final draft, with a release date expected later this year. The upcoming standard has been designed to complement WCAG 2.0 and is split into two parts:

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

The WCAG 2.0 is a technical standard designed by the W3C to show how to make web content that is accessible to people with disabilities.

WCAG 2.0 is based on four design principles. Each principle has a number of associated guidelines, and each guideline has testable success criteria, each of which has an associated level: A, AA or AAA.
