Latest accessible DVD releases – September 2011

Access to new release DVD titles during the month of September 2011 stands at 30% for audio description and 64% for captioning. A total of 87 titles were researched in this month by Media Access Australia.

It is pleasing to see major distributor Paramount Home Entertainment join Roadshow Entertainment as a local producer of audio described titles. This will add to Australia’s position as a world-leader in audio description on DVD. 

The DVD titles released in Australia since July 2011 with audio description include:
