Accessible cinema is expanding quickly in Australia. There are currently 45 cinemas in Australia that show accessible movies on a total of 83 screens. This figure is made up of 15 screens that show captions only and 68 screens that show both captions and audio description.

Cinema locations listed here generally have a minimum of five audio description devices and five closed caption devices for each accessible screen.
